Challenging Cases in Neovascular AMD
Embora o tratamento da forma neovascular da degeneração macular relacionada à idade neovascular (DMRI) com agentes farmacológicos seja bem estabelecido, o mecanismo preciso da doença, os genes específicos relacionados e os motivos para a falha do tratamento em alguns casos da doença ainda são desconhecidos.
A sessão Challenging Cases in Neovascular AMD do programa Retinalive tem como objetivo oferecer uma discussão interativa de casos atípicos ou recalcitrantes de DMRI neovascular por renomados especialistas nacionais e internacionais. As estratégias de tratamento com agentes anti-VEGF e outros fármacos serão discutidas, assim como o tratamento não-farmacológico.
